Waiting
for the start of the International Ferrari GT OPEN championship
on April 19th in Imola, Italy, our pilot Lorenzo Bontempelli (www.lorenzobontempelli.com)
started to warm the atmosphere with his participation to the first
race of "Trofeo Abarth 500", at the Monza National
Circuit, on March 29.
Since the beginning the competition
proved to be exciting: 27 pilots lined up at the start gave life
to two spectacular and passionate races. The presence of the rain
during the tests and the contest , has not certainly obstruct the
pilots performances who, indeed, in the bathed track have found
an amusement element for their 500 Abarth competition set up.
The protagonist car is the 500 Abarth competition set up, expressly prepared
and endowed with 190 power horses engine, able to reach a maximum speed of about
220 km/hours, really exciting for a city car.
