First competition of the Open GT Championship: a useless dominion...

On April 18th and 19th at the Circuit "Enzo e Dino Ferrari" in Imola (Italy) the first two competition sessions of Open GT have been disputed.
Following the bitters responses of the two competitions.

18/04/09 – RACE 1
A contest much wait for the debut of our pilot Lorenzo Bontempelli in the Open GT with a completely new car and great potentialities.
This is what is emerged during the half contest that Livio, the car companion of Bontempelli, has been able to demonstrate, carrying its "430 Scuderia" immediately near the car of the final winner Broniszewski.
Unfortunately, Kravel unskinfulness has carried to the contact of the two cars with the withdrew of our pilot Bontempelli.
The first possible success of 2009 has thus faded.
Tomorrow there will be another competition and our pilots Bontempelli-Livio starts from the "pole-position".

19/04/09 – RACE 2
An absolute dominion of Bontempelli from the first turn until 200 meters from the end-race, when the gear of the "430 Scuderia" get broken, leaving the two pilots without the deserved victory.
When a contest dominated from the first turn gets lost for a mechanical breakdown that takes part to 200 meters from the arrival, remains little words that can reassume really a state of mind.

"When one gets lost in this way there are not many words” - Bontempelli says - “there has been some confusion at the start line because some concurrent were not properly aligned. I have never forced the car because I feared for its reliability, with so much water on track I did not want to risk nothing. Stefano moreover, has done all the best, but perhaps this was not the right weekend to win. The disappointment is a lot, but we have demonstrated to be really competitive. If the bad luck let us free, we will be able to reach many satisfactions this year...".
