May 2007 - I st NATIONAL DAM SECURITY SYMPOSIUM AND EXHIBITION
From May 28th until May 30th was held in Ankara (Turkey)
the First National Dam Security Symposium and Exhibition.
Sisgeo was there with our local distributor STT AYKON.
Here following some information regarding the symposium:
Organized by:
1) Dam security foundation ( BGD)
2) Water foundation ( su vakfi)
3) DSI ( General Directorate of Dtate Hydraulic Works)
4) Eskisehir Osmangazi University
Purpose:
Dam and related structures design, construction and operation
stages, presenting problems, discussions, presenting experiences
to the wider mass. Discussions and forming views concerning
establishing specifications and procedures for the safety of
dams and related structures Additionally, social and economic
magnitudes of these structures.
