Lorenzo Bontempelli and Stefano Livio change their seasonal objectives: they are the two companion of the same team engaged in the Open GT International Championship.

Since May the 5th, 2009, in occasion of the Gran Turismo Italian Championship seasonal debut , the two Team Kessel pilots are engaged with their F430 Scuderia steering-wheel to the pursuit of the Italian title.

31 MAY 2009 – VALLELUNGA
A great Saturday in pole-position for Lorenzo Bontempelli in Vallelunga. A difficult course not so loved by our driver Lorenzo, who right in Vallelunga in 2007, with the Challenge had a bad adventure at the big Curve. Two seasons passed, but finally two great victories with the Team Kessel F430 Scuderia happened, and the couple Bontempelli/Livio reach the championship top. The first race sees, after few minutes the "safety-car" intervention for a car accident which involves Perazzini and LaMazza. Bontempelli remains always between the fifth and the sixth positions, but when sixth laps at the end missed, he passes De Lorenzi GT3Porsche and conquered the victory in the GT3 category. During the second race the rain started while cars are completing the recognition lap. Bontempelli is immediately the quicker despite the cloudburst giving a lead of 7/ 9 seconds per lap to the competitors and reaching a great class victory. 06-07 JUNE 2009 – MAGIONE
After one week from the opening in Vallelunga, the Kessel Racing come back for the second Round at Borzacchini in Magione (PG). During the qualifying phase, Bontempelli-Livio obtain respectively the second position and the la Pole Position, confirming the great combination car-pilots. In the first race Lorenzo and Stefano immediately conquered some advantage to use during the change of the pilot. Stefano breast the tape in second position, recovering seconds on De Lorenzi (Porsche) thanks to many fast laps, arriving a few seconds of separation. The second part of the day has been to forget, after an optimal start, the couple Livio-Bontempelli has been withdrawn because of mechanical troubles, right when they were at the top of Gt3 chart. Now, in the general chart the couple formed by Livio and Bontempelli is in second place and with only 3 points less from the leader.
