As we foresaw last Friday, during the first section of the qualifications, Bontempelli/Livio dominated the entire competition in Imola, with the Kessel Racing F340 Scuderia… two races, two arrivals and two great victories. Finally we start to smile and there are only two other races… then the game will be over!

Borghi/De Lorenzi are still at the first place, with their Porsche 997 and 104 points, but Sisgeo team - Bontempelli/Livio - really reduced the gap, obtaining the second position with 95 points and overcoming Dindo Capello and Giorgio Sanna, who are now at the third place with 85 points.

The next appointment is at Mugello on the middle of September and then there will be the final event in Monza, on the middle of October.

Lorenzo is really enthusiastic, but is also sorry for the missing points and the technical matters occurred during the season: "My feelings are really different and I also think that for Livio is the same: there is a lot of satisfaction and happiness for the results of the last weekend, but there is also a lot of anger for the past and for the series of withdrawals… today we could be the Champions of 2009 without any suffering…instead now we are at the second place and it will be really difficult to reach the first ones, who will naturally play the game until the end.
The possibility to be first exists, but I know that it will not be easy. Anyway…we will do our best…up to the last meter!
