SISGEO has made considerable investments to develop technologies and advanced tools to be used in production. Continuous research allow us to find excellent solutions in order to reduce manufacturing costs and provide a competitive and complete line of products, ensuring thus the growth of our volume of sales.
SISGEO produces both vibrating wire, the best for geotechnical applications, and resistive strain-gauge technologies. SISGEO ranks among the few world manufacturers which produces international quality vibrating wire instruments.
SISGEO has also successfully developed the MEMS technology, which is widely used for tilt-meters, in-place inclinometers and beam level sensors.

Manufacturing Facilities

The SISGEO production department has exemplary tools and equipment for assembling, building and calibrating instruments of the highest quality and reliability.
These include:

- a unique under-vacuum system for saturating hydraulic cells;
- three climate chambers for environment temperature tests;
- TIG welding for manufacturing vibrating wire pressure inserts;
- semi-automatic tool for fibre glass rod extensometer assembling;
- load testing machine up to 3000 KN;
- two pressure vessels for leakage and waterproof tests;
- bi-components epoxy resin dispenser for sealing products.


A significant contribution to the growth of the company has been provided by our team of hardware and software specialists, as all new machines and testing systems are electronically controlled for the automatic generation of calibration certificates.
